We will be discussing your baby’s needs, the value of breastfeeding and looking at the practical skills involved.
Partners are welcome. Sessions run throughout the year at different times so please call us to book a place.

K.E.I.G is a user led umbrella organisation for older peoples groups in Keighley and the surrounding area. It is a forum for older peoples groups and organisations to highlight new initiatives, raise concerns and plan joint events. K.E.I.G disseminates information to groups, is able to consult with its membership and influence the wider district agenda around older peoples issues.
A drop in session for young parents that provides information, and advice on a range of subjects such as staying safe, planning, options. Also available is contraception, HIV testing, Pregnancy testing Chlamydia screening.
Let your budding chef join us for a fun cooking class where they will make a healthy dish that can be shared with all the family.
• We use the eatwell plate to teach children simple facts about nutrition.
• All of our recipes use healthy ingredients.

Keighley’s Wellbeing Café provides support to older people with mild to moderate mental health needs and their carers. We meet for a few hours of fun, friendship and the chance to socialise, with entertainers, support, advice and information.
At Keighley’s Wellbeing Café you can:
• Be with your partner and be yourself for a few hours.
• Share your experience with others in a similar situation.
• Get advice on the services available.
The Wellbeing Café is held on the Third Monday of each month from 1:30pm until 3:30pm at Central Hall, Alice Street, Keighley, BD21 3JD. Costs £2 per session.
Gentle Walks lasting up to 1 hour with a qualified walk leader. Perfect for those looking to get back into fitness or have a long term health condition. Meet at KHL starting Monday 24th October. 4.00pm – 5:00pm.

to help with seasonal jobs, such as planting, weeding and general tidying.
Would you like to improve your cooking skills and knowledge around cooking to lose weight or maintain a healthy weight?
We are running five session cookery courses which show you how to cook delicious and adaptable low fat, sugar and salt recipes.
Courses start at different times during the year, if you are interested in attending please ring the number below to find out more or register for a place.
A friendly group for the over 50s who are interested in art such as painting, drawing and other creative crafts. All levels of ability are welcome! The sessions take place on Tuesdays from 10:00am – 12:00pm and cost £3.50 per session. The cost includes materials and refreshments.
Having a baby can be a momentous and life-changing experience. Before the little one makes an appearance into the world, pregnant girls can join Teen Treasures to help them enjoy the journey.
This is a friendly and informal weekly group where expectant girls work together to create colourful and unique scrapbooks.
They decorate and lay out their special books with their thoughts and expectations in the run up to motherhood and save mementoes of their baby’s first year. It can include a variety of items – their birth plan, a piece about the birth, cards and letters they received when baby was born, baby’s hospital bracelet and photographs of baby’s “firsts”.

P4P is a free 8 week ante-natal program designed to give first time young parents increased confidence, knowledge and skills in parenting.

KHL are offering free weaning and cooking courses for mums, dads and carers with babies aged between 0 and 6 months who will soon be starting on solid foods.

– When to wean and how to get started
– Eating well and nutrition advice
– Practical sessions on cooking weaning foods
– Family Meal Planning and budgeting
– You are welcome to bring your baby with you (help provided)
Breastfeeding Buddies Drop In Groups – Our drop in groups provide a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where you can feel safe to ask for help, information and support around breastfeeding. Come along to meet other mums and babies in an informal setting. Refreshments and a listening ear are always at hand.
Do you want support to lose weight OR to lead a healthier lifestyle?
Our healthy lifestyles course will help by enabling you to change habits and behaviours that affect body weight, health and well being.
REG (Riddlesden Exercise Group) is a very popular, gentle exercise group for the over-50s. Mary Cuthbert, a fully qualified fitness instructor, shows people how to do a variety of exercises, many of which are seated.
The exercises are usually done to music in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Sessions are on Mondays, 10.40am to 12pm (except Bank Holidays), at Riddlesden United Reformed Church, Barr Lane, Riddlesden, Keighley.
It costs £3.00, including refreshments.
