Art class for all skill levels!

A friendly group for people who are interested in art such as painting, drawing and other creative crafts. Open to all levels of ability! The sessions are ran by an art tutor who is there to help and support you.

Each week we will explore different mediums and different techniques. The class will be a draw/paint along session where the tutor will demonstrate each part of the composition in a step by step way and be there to help and guide the participants throughout the class. At the end of each 2 hour class the participants will have a beautiful picture to be proud of and to take home. 

All resources will be supplied as well as refreshments

In the four week course we cover a variety of topics including:

• Week 1 Drawing – Learn observational skills, shape, shading and tone.
• Week 2 Pastels – Learn about colour and blending.
• Week 3 Acrylics – Learn how to layer paints, blend and how to make a pleasing composition.
• Week 4 Watercolour – Learn about wet on wet, dry paint and lifting techniques.
